What Audi J518 does
The Audi J518 tool reads the EEPROM file of your control unit and shows its important values in one clear form: the VIN, ECU CS (CS1), CS2, the MAC values for the ECU, EZS and TCU, the PIN and the power class. You can check every value, change what the job needs and download the edited EEPROM file.

Always keep an untouched copy of your original file and check the result before you write it back to a unit. Your files stay in private storage, reachable only through short lived links, and they are deleted automatically after the retention period. Use this tool only on units you are legally allowed to work on.
